“Trump Accuses Political Adversaries of Attempting to Derail His Campaign Trail Presence”
Former President Donald Trump asserted that his adversaries are endeavoring to remove him from the campaign trail, yet indicated that their efforts appear ineffective.
Addressing a multitude of journalists this week amid his legal battle in New York, the presumed Republican nominee for president highlighted that the left is evidently attempting to sideline him from the campaign arena through a series of legal challenges, which he referred to as “lawfare.”
“But based on what I’m doing, I think there’s more press here…” he pointed out to reporters outside of a salon in New York.
Many agreed that “He gets free press everyday now thanks to this political witch hunt,” another said, as one predicted the ultimate backfire: “He’ll probably end up flipping New York,” they wrote.
Thursday marks the third day of jury selection in the criminal trial overseen by Democratic District Attorney Alvin Bragg, who has brought forth 34 felony charges against Trump. These charges allege that Trump falsified business records concerning payments purportedly made to Stormy Daniels.
